| Are you interested in helping to keep BreastStrokes afloat?
We appreciate assistance from all who wish to help us spread the message of hope to everyone living with breast cancer. As charitable organization we accept cash donations, goods and services and the most valuable commodity ….time.
View our team brochure for details on how to add your support or e-mail us directly.
Special thanks to the following people, organizations, and companies who have helped us reach our objectives since we began as a team in 1998. In other communities dragon boating has become a major recreational activity for teams of all ages.
For BreastStrokes being the only team and boat in our area, has given us some special challenges. The support and assistance of these community groups and businesses have helped to keep our team afloat and to show there is life after breast cancer.

We also wish to thank our first coach Pat Richards who retired in 2010 from her position as Fitness and Lifestyle Director at the University of Guelph.
Pat joined our team as coach in 1999 and has been instrumental in making an athletic team from a group of breast cancer survivors of all ages and physical ability.
She has given us her time, her ear, her enthusiasm, her friendship, her capacity to enjoy life and her love.
It has been reciprocated.
